Problem
Moving is already stressful, but finding that "right" apartment to move into adds to that dilemma. Searching for the best place in your desired location, square footage, and within your price range can seem impossible.
Challenge
Create a Native Android app and implement features that will provide visible rent trends by creating informed apartment renters through data and analytics. This analysis helps predict when prices are at its lowest AKA their ChirpScore.
Role
I was in charge of designing their Native Android App and creating all assets and deliverables.

RentChirp is a start-up company located in the Bay Area. They help people find affordable apartments by creating property listings gained from data and analytics.
Understanding the business vision and what they strive to accomplish for their users. We immediately started sketching out ideas and identifying goals.
Working at RentChirp, we worked closely with a cross-functional team including their Co-founders. I worked along side another UX/UI designer who focused on the iOS app. The Co-Founders wanted both native apps to be almost identical to ensure that they both remain cohesive in design and flow.

Style Guide
Designed everything to Material Design guidelines. Material Design has a sleek structure and layout. It has a harmonic flow that the design plays out nicely and smoothly.

Learnings
Our team had meetings twice a week where we would receive valuable feed back from the entire team. Feedback were from members in marketing, developers, graphic artists, engineers, and the Co-founders. Their weekly feedback helped shaped the design. This ensured that we we all had the same vision and we made iterations early on in the design phase.
